I am a lawyer for companies that build software, apps and AI products. These days I deal most with AI agents: what they may do, who is liable for them and how to put it in a contract. You get one person who understands your product, and behind him a team that can carry a large corporation. ## What I help with ### Agents and agentic development Rolling out coding agents, building your own agent for customers, or letting an agent buy and sign on your behalf? I will help you set up permissions, confirmations and logs that hold up as evidence of due care, and contracts that make it clear who is liable when an agent causes damage. ### AI in web and app development Who owns code a model wrote, what happens to the licence when the model hands back someone else’s snippet, what the terms of Copilot, Claude or Gemini promise and what follows for your clients. Rules for a team that builds with AI. ### Software compliance across the EU The AI Act, the Cyber Resilience Act, GDPR, NIS2 and the Data Act for products sold in more than one country. For groups with a parent company abroad and for subsidiaries of multinationals, including coordination with local lawyers outside the EU. ### The AI Act and AI products Whether your system is high-risk, what transparency under Article 50 means for chatbots and agents, who is the provider and who is the deployer. And which of that has to show up in your documentation and in your interface. ### Contracts for software Development and work contracts, SaaS and API terms, licence agreements, contracts with freelancers and agencies, delivery of an agent or a model, SLAs and limitation of liability. Written so that a CTO can follow them too. ### Licences and open source Licence checks in your repository, SPDX and REUSE, copyleft in a product, contributions to open source and getting your code ready for due diligence before an investment or a sale. ### Cyber Resilience Act and security Whether the CRA applies to you, who the manufacturer is, how to report actively exploited vulnerabilities, what an SBOM and a vulnerability disclosure policy must contain. And how to prepare for the new liability for defective software. ### Personal data, cookies and interfaces GDPR for apps and websites, cookie banners, analytics and ad pixels, terms and conditions for online shops, and a dark pattern check of your interface before the Czech Trade Inspection Authority does one. ### Brand and know-how protection A protection strategy for brands and product names in the EU and worldwide, disputes over names, domains and social media accounts, trade secrets and the know-how that copyright does not protect. ### IP audit with a 90% EU subsidy An audit of a company’s intellectual property: code, brands, designs, data, rights to AI outputs and protection of know-how. I do it as an accredited IP scan provider at the Industrial Property Office of the Czech Republic, so 90% of the price is covered by a voucher from the EU SME Fund. I will handle the voucher application for you free of charge. The voucher is only for companies and sole traders based in the Czech Republic. The Office opens applications again in November 2026. ## How we work together ### We have a call We find out what you are dealing with and whether I am the right person for it. If not, I will tell you who is. ### Offer and contract I send you the scope and the fee, hourly or fixed per deliverable. We start with a written contract for legal services. ### I deliver You get a document, a comment or a solution that both a developer and a managing director understand.
